Summer Rains in Baja

The hot humid weather of San Felipe Julys and Augusts sometimes will bring conditions for a little summer downpour.

The desert gets a good watering, little leaves pop out on ocotillos and scrub bushes and the colors of the mountains and surroundings seem more vivid for a while.

The horsies seem to enjoy the little change in the weather too. The only thing to make sure of for now is that the hay stays nice and dry, raised up and covered to ensure that the water keeps away!
