Dawn and Dusk Rides

With the warmer days of a Baja July here, the best time to plan a ride is early – extra early – or right at dusk. The other day we headed out for a trail ride around 6:30 AM. It was a beautiful day, with clouds and possibly a small storm far out in the Sea of Cortez providing a nice fresh breeze as we meandered down a wash and through the ocotillos.

There are definitely some amazing things to be seen out in the Baja desert from the back of a horse. On this particular morning we spotted a hawk taking a break from the skies, perched on the very top of a thick ocotillo, silhouetted against the clouds.

  • I have a horse and am an experienced horse woman. I am in the middle of moving Joe from New Mexico to maybe San Diego. I have been told that you were here and was wondering what kind of area ,size etc you have and if you do boarding.
Also did you bring your horses from the states or are they from Mexico.
    Thanks. Carolanne.

    • Carolanne, I am a friend of Lynn and Paco. Just in case they haven’t gotten back to you yet on your inquiry, I will be sure and bring it to Lyns attention this evening, July 23.

Thank you very much for your interest.

      Ross
