We’ve also been working on collecting recycled tires to build the round pen with. With plenty of llanteras (tire shops) around in the town of San Felipe, there’s no shortage of them at least. Durable, safe and easily stackable, they make for the perfect building material. It’s just going to take a bit of hauling and stacking!
Round Pen Beginnings
There are some tire houses and walls in the Ejido. They have the technilogy together. If I recall you cant just stack them, you have to fill them with packed dirt first. Adrianna Joyce owns two tire houses and Randy Kerr also has used tires.. I thought you just stacked them but I was wrong. Just passing that along if you didnt know.
