We headed out for a bareback jaunt the other day, just appreciating the beauty of the desert and the mountainous backdrop. We’re always scouting out new trails and the best routes, especially for group trail rides in the future, and this one was a pretty nice route. Coming back towards the equestrian center, there were regularly spaced troughs of water that are filled each day for wildlife, so it made for the perfect stop for the horses to have a little sip on a warm day. During the hot months in Baja, having a little water stop will be ideal for longer rides.
